Desert Botanical Garden

Christin and I returned to the spot where we got engaged a few months back. It was free museum day and we were able to go to the Desert Botanical Garden. I love coming to the garden. They have jazz in the garden days, wine tastings and avant-garde evenings with music. The current exhibit were these big bug sculptures placed all over the garden. I feel like every time we have gone here we catch a beautiful sunset. It truly is an amazing place for us and it will always be special to me because it was the place where God called to me to ask my amazing wife to marry me.

Romeo’s Euro Cafe

Our amazing night wasn’t over. After proposing to Christin, we headed down to Gilbert to have some dessert at Liberty Market. They happened to be closed, so we went to Romeo’s Euro Cafe instead. They had quite a variety of desserts to choose from. We had a delicious chocolate cake and lemon pie with a latte. What a perfect ending to the most amazing night of my life!

Engagement Night – Pier 54

Christin and I ate at Pier 54. At first we though it was some dive bar and almost left. But we hung around and ended up having an amazing night. Pier 54 is located on a waterfront in Tempe and has a limited seating area. We enjoyed a pizza, salad and some wine. As the sun started to set, I knew something magical was going to happen. God was calling me ask this amazing woman he gave me for her hand in marriage. After dinner, we went to the Desert Botanical Garden where I proposed to her.
