I spent Valentine’s Day evening with my good friend Candace. I’m staying with her here in Foster City and she has taken me all over San Francisco. Tonight we were feeling sushi and she took me to a place she love’s – Kobe Japanese Cuisine & Bar. The sushi here is amazing! Kobe is located in the Edgewater Place shopping center next to beautiful Central Lake. We ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll, Ring of Fire Roll, Ribeye Roll and the amazing Volcano Roll. What a great dinner to cap off a fun day!
Foster City is a beautiful city located south of San Francisco. It is sometimes considered a part of of Silicon Valley and has been voted by Forbes as one of the best towns to live well. I love visiting many of the cities south of San Francisco – Palo Alto, Monterey and Foster City. They are so beautiful and have some great views of the San Francisco Bay. This week I’m visiting a friend who lives in Foster City and enjoying a quiet morning and the view of the water from her backyard.
I flew into Oakland to visit a friend who lives in Foster City. The trip from the airport to Foster City means we had to cross the very long and narrow San Mateo-Hayward Bridge. It is 7 miles long and the 25th longest bridge in the world by length. We also caught a storm on the way which added to the pretty views of the San Francisco Bay.
