Japanese Tea Garden
The Japanese Tea Garden is a popular attraction in Golden Gate Park. Originally created for the 1894 California Midwinter International Exposition, the site originally spanned about one acre and showcased a Japanese style garden. Today it features an arched drum bridge, pagodas, stone lanterns, native Japanese plants, serene koi ponds, a zen garden and cherry blossom trees that bloom in March and April.
Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park is a 1,017 acre rectangular urban park located in San Francisco, CA. In addition to a variety of trees, flowers and plants, Golden Gate Park is home to many attractions. The Music Concourse, De Young Museum, Academy of Science, Japanese Tea Garden, Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Garden, Stow Lake, Polo Fields & Windmills and many more all make up the Park. Golden Gate Park is the fifth most visited park in the U.S. and has been seen in many films.
